Accounts Payable
Andgar Corporation is looking to fill an Accounts Payable position at their corporate office in Ferndale, WA. This position is responsible for handling all accounts payable duties – to include setting up new vendors, maintaining files, invoicing, and processing check runs, in accordance with Andgar company policies and standards. Actual duties may include some or all duties listed below.

- Salary Range $24.00 - $28.00 an hour

- Set up new vendors in eCMS (accounting software), obtaining the required information from each vendor
- Route vendor invoices through eCMS and manage respective invoice payment approvals and deadlines
- Maintain invoice approval workflow settings in eCMS
- Process scheduled check runs each week, providing manual checks as requested
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up as necessary
- Prepare and distribute credit applications to potential new vendors
- Manage company purchasing cards and reconcile statements
- Prepare, distribute and manage successful return of vendor lien releases
- Adhere to assigned work schedule (attendance and punctuality).
- Respond to phone messages, emails in timely manner.
- Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, maintaining a clean work area.
- Seeks assistance as needed and asks questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Consistently meets the overall goals of Accounting Department, timely performance of duties
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to follow instructions with appropriate level of self-direction
- Ability to operate in a multi-entity and multi-state environment
- Ability to interact with customers, vendors and employees on a positive level
- Responsive to inter-company personnel and vendors
- Computer proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Additional certifications, broader accounting experience or construction background a plus
- Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
